Ingredients

  • 4 Hot dogs
  • 4 Hot dog buns
  • 2 Onion
  • 4 tbsp Yellow mustard
  • 20 g Butter
  • 4 tbsp Tomato ketchup

Instructions

    Thinly slice the onions and cook slowly in butter over medium-low heat until soft and caramelised.

    Meanwhile, grill or boil the hot dogs according to package instructions until heated through.

    Warm the buns slightly in the oven or on a grill pan for a softer texture.

    Place the cooked hot dogs into the buns.

    Top generously with caramelised onions, mustard and ketchup.

    Serve immediately while hot.
